RFP - On-Call Public Right-of-Way Construction Services

The City of Albany (City) is requesting proposals from licensed contractors to provide the City with on-call Public Right-of-Way (PROW) Construction Services. The City intends to issue several three-year term contracts to be used as the need arises. Services will be used for a variety of repairs and maintenance needs. Proposers are encouraged to focus on their areas of strength and are not required to team with a large number of subcontractors to cover all potential types of work. Proposals are not required to cover all scopes of work outlined in the Scope of Service.

Services for each scope of work will be provided on a negotiated basis, per on-call service request. For each on-call service request, the Contractor and the City will agree upon the specific scope of work and cost before work begins. The cost of each on-call service request’s scope of work will not exceed $100,000; scopes of work exceeding $100,000 will continue to be formally bid separately. The total Contract Price (i.e. the summation of the on-call service request payments) shall not exceed $300,000.
