B. The Project consists of 4 distinct stages:
1. Stabilization and removal of lead-based paint
2. Application of Peel Stop
3. Application of Primer
4. Application of 2 Layers of Paint
Refer to Section 01 1000 Summary of Work for more Project Description information. The estimated construction cost is $132,000 and liquidated damages is $1,000 per day.
A pre-bid conference will be held on site on Tuesday, April 29 at 10 AM, as described below, to acquaint all prospective bidders with the Contract Documents and the Worksite. Bidders shall meet at the project site – 237 Crescent Road, San Anselmo. Bidders must attend the pre-bid conference in order to bid the project. The bidders’ conference is mandatory. Bidder must sign in on the pre-bid conference sign-in sheet as proof of attendance. A bidder who fails to attend the mandatory bidders’ conference may be disqualified from bidding.
